Depart from Haridwar and drive 230 km to Sitapur, passing through the beautiful mountain valleys of Uttarakhand.,Follow the course of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, and pass scenic towns like Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Guptkashi.,Arrive in Sitapur and check in to a comfortable, cozy cottage for your overnight stay, preparing for the upcoming trek.
After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath Yatra.,Begin your 20-22 km trek to Kedarnath Temple, walking along a scenic trail alongside the Mandakini River.,The trail features steep valleys, cascading waterfalls, and snow-clad peaks. Reach Kedarnath, visit the sacred temple, and settle into camp accommodation for the night.
Attend early morning prayers at the Kedarnath Temple.,Retrace your steps on the 20-22 km descent back to Gaurikund, enjoying changing perspectives of the rivers, peaks, and valleys.,From Gaurikund, take a vehicle to Sonprayag and walk back to Sitapur. Check in once again at the cottage for a relaxing dinner and comfortable overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast at the cottage, then begin the 230 km return drive to Haridwar/Rishikesh.,Travel along the beautiful Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers, passing scenic valleys and mountain confluences. Reflect on the deep spiritual experiences of your yatra.,Arrive in Haridwar/Rishikesh by evening, concluding your sacred Kedarnath pilgrimage with drop-off.
